From repairing a kitchen cupboard to completely refitting a new bathroom I can help.

I can help with a job as simple as hanging a cupboard door that fell off, to providing units, doors countertops etc, to scratch building a bespoke solid wood kitchen or fitting a kitchen provided by yourself. Please take a look at the kitchens and bathrooms I have done.

A Bathroom Transformation

I fitted everything you can see including the amazing free standing bath, wood paneling, basin, toilet and the stunning walk in shower. Tiled in these modern cosmopolitan tiles with the contrasting niche. You may notice the bath is placed on a raised tiled step which I feel really makes it the centerpiece of the room.

Removed old kitchen and installed new units, doors, black gloss worktop, sink, fittings and extractor hood. I also built a modular shelving unit and bespoke chopping board.

Restored the counter tops, previously they were severely watermarked and worn. The original varnish had all but gone. Using my 99% dust free equipment I sanded the worksop and then sealed in a high strength varnish.

Designed and build a made to measure end grain beach wood chopping board with a waste shoot that goes through the countertop to a cupboard bin.

Before and after

Removal of the old kitchen cupboards, tiles, floor, and services. Installation of a solid oak floor, new cupboard units, doors fixings and appliances. Relocation of the sink to the back wall.

I specialised in fitting solid wood flooring and floor sanding for a number of years and gained experience in fitting a wide range of flooring types, including;

Sanded with my 99% dust free equipment, stained with a deep mahogany and sealed with a semi gloss varnish.

Fitted an oak engineered floor (4mm of solid oak laminated on to man made board, for superior stability). Fitted skirting boards and sealed in a hard wax oil, for a natural rich shine.

Sanded with my 99% dust free equipment and sealed with a stain varnish.

Fitted a  solid oak floor with beveled edges, pre-sealed in a hard wax oil. — Fitted a solid oak floor with beveled edges, pre-sealed in a hard wax oil.

Fitted an oak engineered floor (4mm of solid oak laminated on to man made board, for superior stability). Trimmed with oak Scotia and sealed and stained in a walnut hard wax oil.

Fitted a solid oak square edge floor for a smooth surface, including solid oak skirting boards.

Sanded the Regent Theatre, Ipswich ballroom floor with my 99% dust free equipment and sealed in a high strength varnish.

I love making furniture, it’s where I started.

I trained and worked as a furniture maker at the beginning of my career. If you have an idea and want it to become a reality, we can go through the design process together discussing dimensions, style and implementation until you have what you want in your home. If it's a fitted shelving unit or a stand alone piece, I can do it, even if it's a single shelf that you want to fit in a tight space.

Designed and built a slim made to measure corner desk, made from oak veneer mdf.

I designed and built this custom modular shelving unit to fit into an awkward area under the stairs.

I'm very proud of this piece. I designed this coffee table from scratch, it completely hides a chess board that comes up from the centre. I designed this coffee table from scratch, it completely hides a chess board that comes up from the centre. The thought was to be able to fold the chess board away mid-game to be finished later. The mechanism works in one fluid motion, by pulling the end rails outwards until full extension and then pushing the rails down to the sides. This coffee table is made from solid oak and sealed with a clear satin varnish.
